How do I wash my pads?

Will my pad leak?

Our reusable pads are designed to provide reliable, worry-free protection. The bamboo absorbent core holds moisture effectively, while a hidden waterproof layer helps prevent leaks. To help prevent leaks even further, we do still recommend changing your pads every 3-5 hours, but this can depend on your individual flow.

Note: Avoid using fabric softener as this can reduce the absorbency of your pads.

What are the pads made from?


Our reusable pads are thoughtfully made using high-quality, natural and functional fabrics for comfort, protection, and beauty.

The topper layer is a soft bamboo cotton jersey, gentle on the skin and breathable.

Inside, the absorbent core is made from bamboo terry cloth, known for its excellent absorbency.

A waterproof layer is sewn in to help prevent leaks, while the cotton backing provides softness and stability.

Each pad is finished with a delicate lace fabric, adding a touch of elegance to something you use every month.
How do I choose the right pad size and absorbency?

Choosing the right pad depends on your flow and when you plan to wear it:

  • Small (Panty Liner) – Best for light flow, daily discharge, or spotting at the beginning or end of your cycle.

  • Regular Pad – Ideal for regular flow and comfortable day-to-day wear.

  • Heavy Pad – Designed for heavy flow, night-time use, and postpartum, offering extra absorbency and protection when you need it most.

Many women choose a mix of sizes to suit different days of their cycle, giving flexibility and comfort throughout.
How often should I change my pad?

This depends on your flow, but as a general guide, reusable pads should be changed every 3-5 hours, or sooner if they feel full. On heavier days or overnight, you may need to change more frequently. Listening to your body and changing your pad as needed helps maintain comfort, freshness, and hygiene throughout the day.
How many pads do I need for my cycle?

The number of pads you need depends on your flow and which sizes you use. On average, women use 1-4 pads a day, including 1 heavy flow for night time use.

So, having around 18-25 pads is recommended if you want to wash all your pads at the end of your cycle, but again, this all varies depending on your flow and the length of your period.

Many women find having a mix of sizes covers all parts of their cycle comfortably, so you always have the right pad for each day.
How should I change my pads while I am out?

Changing your pad while out is simple and discreet. We have our two-compartment pouches, one side for clean pads and the other for a used pads, so you can change your pad easily, whilst on the go. Once you use your pad, simply just fold it and pop it closed using the snaps, and place it into one of the compartments.

How do I keep my pads stain free?

To keep your pads looking fresh, simply treat any stains before washing, using your preferred method of stain treatment.

What type of underwear should I wear?

For the best comfort and fit, we recommend wearing fitted underwear. This helps to keep your reusable pad securely in place, prevents shifting, and ensures maximum protection throughout the day.
