Caring for your pads ensure they remain fresh, absorbent, and long-lasting, so you can continue to use them with comfort and ease. ♡

BEFORE FIRST USE:

  • Before your first use, pre-wash all your pads to ensure they are fresh and clean.
  • Wash them on a cold cycle before wearing them.
  • As this helps to activate the absorbent layers, allowing the pads to reach their full absorbency and perform at their best.

AFTER EACH USE:

PRE-SOAK:

  • Rinse your pad(s) after use in cold water until the water runs clear, to help wash out the majority of the blood.
  • Alternatively, you can soak your pads in a bowl of cold water, and rinse out the water every 1-2 hours until the water is clear.
  • after using any of the first two steps, then soak your pads in the bowl of cold water for up to 24 hours.
  • AVOID HOT WATER AS HOT WATER SETS STAINS!
  • Note: if you want to stain treat your pads, as little stains may still be visible, simply use a stain treatment method before washing.

WASHING:

  • Wash your pads in a warm 30° wash cycle or on a cold wash cycle. You can either do this by hand or in the washing machine.
  • You can wash them with your regular laundry, as it will not affect or stain your other clothes, but this is optional.
  • DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTER, BLEACH OR HARSH CHEMICALS, as these can reduce absorbency of the pad and damage the waterproof layer over time.

DRYING:

  • Hang dry your pads using one of our drying straps. Make sure the area is well ventilated.
  • Avoid placing your pads directly on a heater/radiator as this can cause shrinkage or damage.
  • DO NOT TUMBLE DRY as this can damage the waterproof layer.
  • Air drying your pads help to preserve the fabric and extend the life of your pads.

  • This helps to keep them fresh and ready for whenever you need them.
